Operating within a temperature range of 0 °C to +70 °C, the KB ECO 1020 utilizes Binder’s APT.line™ preheating chamber technology to ensure homogeneous temperature distribution throughout the chamber, even under full load. Its Peltier cooling system eliminates the need for traditional refrigerants, reducing energy consumption and ecological impact without compromising performance.
The unit features an intuitive LCD controller with real-time and time-segment programming, along with adjustable fan speed to fine-tune air circulation for sensitive samples. A tempered safety glass inner door allows visual monitoring without opening the chamber, and a Class 3.1 independent temperature safety device (DIN 12880) provides robust overtemperature protection with both visual and audible alarms.
