The Abbe condenser reaches an extendable working distance up to 220 mm, with phase contrast and darkfield sliders built in. Full Kohler illumination and a fixed plus attachable mechanical stage support cell culture work in vessels of varying heights. The Optika IM-5FLD combines an inverted stand for cell culture observation with LED fluorescence covering blue, green, and UV excitation as standard equipment. The condenser extends its working distance up to 220 mm, and phase contrast and darkfield sliders are built into the condenser turret for switching technique without changing hardware.

Optika IM-5FLD Inverted Trinocular LED Fluorescence Microscope

The Optika IM-5FLD is an inverted trinocular LED fluorescence microscope, built with blue, green, and UV filter sets included as standard for cell culture and fluorescence work.

The objective platform is configurable and sold separately, covering IOS LWD W-PLAN, W-PLAN PH, U-PLAN F, and U-PLAN F PH options to match the application.

LED Fluorescence with Blue, Green, and UV Filter Sets

The 4-position fluorescence attachment ships with blue, green, and UV filter sets installed. The LED light source runs at 5 W with a lifetime over 65000 hours and manual brightness control. The blue filter suits fluorochromes such as Acridine Orange, Auramine, FITC, and GFP, the green filter suits Rhodamine, Texas Red, and TRITC, and the UV filter suits DAPI, Hoechst 33342, and Fura-2, among others.

Configurable IOS LWD Objective Platform

Objectives are sold separately and cover IOS LWD W-PLAN for brightfield, W-PLAN PH and U-PLAN F PH for phase contrast, and U-PLAN F for fluorescence, with working distances up to 18.52 mm on the 4x U-PLAN F objective.

Extendable Long Working Distance Condenser

The Abbe condenser, N.A. 0.50, has a standard 28 mm working distance that extends up to 220 mm, with built-in sliders for phase contrast (BF, 4x/10x, 20x/40x) and darkfield on dry objectives.

Fixed and Attachable Mechanical Stage

The stage combines a fixed 215×250 mm platform with an attachable mechanical stage (290×250 mm mounted), giving a 120×80 mm moving range and holders for Petri dishes at 38, 54, and 65 mm, plus a 96-well Terasaki plate holder.
