The Ohaus e-E51LDMP03 is the microplate-specific model in the Endeavor 5000 line, with a tray built to secure microplates and deep-well plates directly, rather than relying on a general-purpose flask platform.

It suits labs that need budget-friendly, programmable microplate shaking without moving up to a specialized high-speed microplate shaker.

Triple eccentric drive keeps the tray flat

A triple eccentric drive and maintenance-free brushless DC motor keep the tray flat through the full speed range, with no vertical wobble to cause splashing, even at high speed.

This is a specific advantage over competitor shakers using a single-eccentric drive, where tray wobble at higher speed is a common cause of sample splashing.

Ready-to-use microplate tray with V-clips

The dedicated tray (280 x 197 mm) ships ready to use with V-clips and springs that secure microplates directly, holding 4 microplates, or 2 Micro Tube Racks, or 2 microplates and 1 rack, per cycle.

Removing the V-clips and springs converts the same tray to hold 2 Micro Tube Racks (item 30400114, sold separately).

Deep-well plates via the optional Deep Well Plate Kit

The optional Deep Well Plate Kit adapts the same tray for deep-well plates using four rubber bumpers that screw directly into the tray, without needing the separate Deep Plate Kit used on other Ohaus microplate shakers.

The unit is rated for -10°C to 40°C, 80% RH non-condensing, which covers incubator and cold room use, though it is not rated for the condensing environment inside an active CO2 incubator.
