Choosing the correct seat height

The correct model depends on the height of your laboratory bench or workstation.

As a general rule, the seat height should be approximately 20 to 25 cm lower than the work surface.

• Work height ± 80 cm → Texon 2
• Work height ± 90 cm → Texon 2 Extended (with footring)
• Work height > 95 cm → Texon 3 (with glides)

Safe working at height (DIN 68877)

For higher seating positions, safety standards such as DIN 68877 apply. Standard castors are not permitted above certain heights.

Texon 3 is therefore equipped with glides or sit-stop castors that lock under load, preventing unintended movement.

This ensures safe working conditions at elevated workstations.
