The Edmund Buhler TiMix 2 is a compact orbital shaker designed specifically for microplate work and small sample volumes.

Its platform is fitted with holders for 4 standard-format microplates (deepwell or standard plates).

Exact orbital motion and high speed

The exact orbital motion and short 3 mm stroke support even mixing without splashing out of the wells, even at high speed.

Speed runs stepless from 100 to 1400 rpm, covering both gentle mixing protocols and fast ones.

Timer and operating conditions

The programmable timer from 0 to 120 minutes, or continuous operation, fits most laboratory protocols.

• 4 microplates per cycle, deepwell or standard format
• Ambient operating temperature from 5°C to 50°C
• Power supply of 230 V or 115 V, 50/60 Hz, to be specified at order

A compact bench format

With a footprint of 220 x 410 x 110 mm and a weight of 8.5 kg, the TiMix 2 takes up little bench space while covering 4 microplates per cycle.
