Binder WIC 3 Walk‑In Chamber – 24 m³ Walk‑In Environmental & Stability Chamber
The Binder WIC 3 walk‑in chamber delivers precise and stable environmental conditions for ICH-compliant stability testing, shelf-life simulations, and long-term storage applications. With an internal volume of approximately 24 m³ (2,400 × 4,500 × 2,270 mm), it provides consistent performance within a temperature range of 10 °C to 50 °C (±1.5 °C) and a humidity range of 20 % to 90 % RH (±2.5 %).
The chamber features a robust stainless steel interior and a galvanized, polyester-coated exterior in RAL 9010. Highly efficient 100 mm polyurethane insulation panels ensure excellent thermal stability with a U-value of 0.21 W/m²K. The floor, made of patterned 5WL chrome-nickel steel, supports heavy loads up to 50,000 N/m²—ideal for large-scale lab use.
The WIC 3 includes LED lighting with motion sensors, a lockable door with internal safety release, and a 50 mm access port for external monitoring devices. Maintenance is simplified thanks to an externally mounted air-conditioning unit, which avoids disrupting internal conditions during servicing.
This walk-in environmental chamber uses an environmentally friendly R450A refrigerant (GWP 547) and meets all ICH Q1A (R2), GMP, and GLP requirements. It is well-suited for pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and material stability studies, and includes a 3-year warranty for peace of mind.
