Description

Binder WIC 2 Walk‑In Chamber – 18 m³ Walk‑In Environmental & Stability Chamber
The Binder WIC 2 walk‑in chamber provides reliable and precise environmental control for ICH-compliant stability testing, shelf-life studies, and accelerated aging. With an interior volume of 18 m³ (2,400 × 3,400 × 2,270 mm), it offers stable temperature conditions from 10 °C to 50 °C (±1.5 °C) and humidity control from 20 % to 90 % RH (±2.5 %) through a high-performance ducted air distribution system.
Constructed with a robust stainless steel interior and a galvanized, polyester-coated exterior in RAL 9010, the chamber features 100 mm polyurethane insulation panels with a U-value of 0.21 W/m²K. The floor is finished with patterned 5WL chrome-nickel steel, supporting loads up to 50,000 N/m², making it ideal for heavy-duty laboratory applications.
Standard features include motion-sensor LED lighting, a lockable safety door with interior emergency release, and a 50 mm access port for external sensors. The air-conditioning unit is mounted externally, allowing maintenance without disturbing internal climate conditions. Environmentally friendly refrigerant (GWP 547, R450A) ensures sustainable performance.
Designed for pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and materials testing laboratories, the WIC 2 meets all ICH Q1A (R2), GMP, and GLP requirements. A 3-year warranty is included for long-term reliability and peace of mind.
