Binder MKF 240 Climate Chamber – 228 L Dynamic Environmental Chamber with Humidity Control
The Binder MKF 240 climate chamber offers reliable and precise environmental simulation for demanding testing scenarios involving rapid temperature changes and controlled humidity. With a spacious 228-liter stainless steel interior, this chamber is ideal for thermal cycling, stress testing, and aging studies in industries like automotive, electronics, aerospace, and materials research.
Operating within a temperature range of –40 °C to +180 °C and a humidity range of 10 % to 98 % RH, the MKF 240 ensures consistent and repeatable test conditions. It features APT.line™ preheating technology for uniform air distribution, along with a capacitive humidity sensor and steam humidification system for accurate and fast-response climate control.
This model includes a user-friendly touchscreen controller that supports both real-time and time-segment programming. Data can be logged via USB or Ethernet, and the integrated chart recorder and real-time clock allow traceable documentation. A built-in 20-liter water tank ensures reliable humidification without the need for direct plumbing.
Additional features include a heated viewing window with LED lighting, a 50 mm access port, programmable condensation protection, and an advanced safety system with alarms and a Class 2 temperature safety device. The MKF 240 is mounted on castors for easy mobility and uses environmentally friendly, CFC-free R‑452A refrigerant.
