The Asem Kristal L1200 is a premium fume hood combining EN14175 and NFX15-203 certification with a Class 0 fire-resistant steel structure. Featuring a high-performance sash with anti-fall safety, an integrated sealed technical drawer for utilities and electronics, and optimized airflow with by-pass and airfoil-pass design, it ensures both safety and operator comfort.
Asem Kristal L1200 Fume Hood – High-End Safety and Ergonomics
The Kristal range represents Asem’s high-end fume cupboard solution, offering advanced safety, ergonomic design, and durability. The L1200 model is built in a fire-resistant Class M0 galvanized steel frame, finished with epoxy coating for superior chemical resistance, and certified to both EN14175 and NFX15-203 standards.
Its sash is fitted with laminated 6 mm safety glass in three sliding panels, guided by silent runners, with a vertical counterweight system and anti-fall security device. A polycarbonate ceiling panel doubles as a deflagration outlet and natural light passage. Mechanical stops at 30 cm and 45 cm ensure controlled airflow positions.
A unique feature of the Kristal series is its integrated technical front drawer, providing safe, sealed access to fluid, gas, and electrical utilities, as well as electronics and alarms—simplifying maintenance and increasing reliability. The double-plenum design ensures optimal removal of heavy and light vapours, while the by-pass and airfoil-pass avoid turbulence when the sash is closed.
Additional features include high-efficiency LED lighting (IP65, 800 lux), full side glazing for maximum visibility, modular replaceable windows, and optimized ergonomics for intensive laboratory use.
