Microplate vortex mixers replace a manual tube-by-tube workflow with a single platform that agitates an entire plate at once, using an orbital motion suited to 96-well or 384-well formats. This is useful for PCR plate mixing, nucleic acid isolation protocols, and other plate-based sample preparation.
Biobase MX-M: Flexible Plate and Tube Mixing
The Biobase MX-M runs an orbital shaking motion with a 4.5 mm orbital diameter, from 0 to 1500 rpm with a single microplate or 0 to 1000 rpm with two microplates stacked. It ships with a universal top plate and tube adapter as standard, and an optional microplate clamp secures plates directly for orbital mixing.
Digital Vortex-Genie 2 ABI: Built for Applied Biosystems Protocols
The Digital Vortex-Genie 2 ABI replaces the standard Vortex-Genie platform with a dedicated Applied Biosystems 96 and 384-well microplate adaptor, for laboratories running Applied Biosystems-specified mixing steps in nucleic acid isolation or PCR plate preparation.
