The Binder MKFT 720 climate chamber is a large-capacity, high-performance environmental chamber engineered for demanding dynamic temperature and humidity testing. With a generous 734-liter stainless steel chamber, this unit delivers exceptional stability and rapid change rates for critical testing in aerospace, automotive, electronics, and materials science.
Operating across an extended temperature range from –70 °C to +180 °C and a humidity range from 10 % to 98 % RH, the MKFT 720 ensures reliable performance even during rapid thermal cycling. APT.line™ preheating technology maintains uniform climate conditions throughout the chamber, while the steam-based humidification system combined with a capacitive humidity sensor provides precise humidity control.
This chamber features a user-friendly touchscreen controller that supports both real-time and time-segment programming, as well as ramp functions. Data logging is seamless via USB and Ethernet interfaces, and an integrated chart recorder adds further traceability. A 20-liter integrated water tank manages automated water supply and drainage, reducing the need for external connections.
Additional highlights include a heated viewing window with LED lighting, two 80 mm access ports (left and right), programmable condensation protection, door heating, and a Class 2 adjustable temperature safety device with visual and audible alarms. Mounted on four castors (two lockable), the MKFT 720 is both mobile and robust. It uses environmentally friendly R‑452A and R‑23 refrigerants in a cascade cooling system.
