Binder KBF PRO 470 Constant Climate Chamber – 472 L Precision and Performance for Stability Testing
The Binder KBF PRO 470 constant climate chamber is engineered for rigorous stability testing, material aging studies, and precise environmental conditioning in pharmaceutical, chemical, and life science laboratories. With a spacious 472-liter stainless steel chamber, it delivers stable, uniform conditions across a wide range of temperature and humidity settings.
This climate chamber operates within a temperature range of –20 °C to +100 °C and a humidity range of 10% to 98% RH, making it ideal for high-humidity storage and accelerated testing. The unit features Binder’s APT.line™ preheating technology and a high-efficiency inverter compressor using natural R‑290 refrigerant, significantly reducing energy consumption while maintaining reliability and temperature uniformity.
Equipped with steam humidification and a capacitive humidity sensor, the KBF PRO 470 ensures precise moisture control. Door heating and adjustable fan speed prevent condensation and improve temperature consistency. The user-friendly touchscreen controller supports programmable time cycles and allows real-time monitoring, while USB and Ethernet ports provide easy data export in compliance with GLP standards.
Safety is enhanced by a Class 3.3 independent temperature safety system, alarm notifications, and a built-in diagnostic function. Two stainless steel racks on telescopic rails are included, with space for up to 15 shelf positions. The chamber is mobile with locking casters and includes a 30 mm access port for additional sensors or cables.
