The Edmund Buhler KS 15 B is a compact reciprocating (horizontal) shaker, built as an everyday instrument for general laboratory use, with a maximum load of 15 kg.

It is the reciprocating version of the Compact KS 15 family, alongside the KS 15 A, which runs an orbital motion, with otherwise identical specifications.

Speed and stroke

Speed adjusts steplessly from 30 to 420 rpm, over a 17 mm stroke suited to a wide range of laboratory vessels.

Platform and load capacity

The 400 x 300 mm platform holds a maximum load of 15 kg. The unit ships without a fixation rack, to be selected separately based on vessel format.

Rack and fixation accessories

The KS 15 B can take the TH 15 incubator hood, which turns the shaker into a combined shaking and temperature-controlled station, from 5°C above ambient up to 50°C.
