Edmund Buhler KL 2 Dual-Action Laboratory Shaker

A reversible shaker, orbital or reciprocating

The Edmund Buhler KL 2 is built to switch between an orbital motion and a reciprocating (horizontal) motion depending on the protocol to run.

This dual function avoids the need for extra instruments on a bench where several types of agitation are required.

Speed and stroke

Speed adjusts steplessly from 30 to 420 rpm, over an 8 mm stroke suited to a wide range of laboratory vessels.

Platform and standard setup

The 300 x 300 mm platform holds a maximum load of 2 kg. The standard setup includes a rack with 3 horizontal clamping strips and a rubber mat.

• 9 Erlenmeyer flasks of 250 ml, or 1 separating funnel of 250 ml
• Programmable timer from 0 to 120 minutes, or continuous operation
• Power supply of 230 V or 115 V, 50/60 Hz, to be specified at order

Modular clamping accessories

The KL 2 accepts several types of clamping strips and test tube racks, allowing the fixation to be adapted to vessel format: vertical and horizontal strips, cramp strips for separating funnels, and racks for tubes of 14, 16, 18, or 30 mm diameter.
