A self-contained orbital shaker for fridges or incubators

The Edmund Buhler KM 2 Akku is the battery-powered version of the KM 2 orbital shaker. It is built for situations where a mains socket is not accessible or not permitted, such as inside a refrigerator or a standard incubator.

The supplied mains charger recharges the battery and, when needed, can also run the unit continuously on cable.

Battery and runtime

The internal 12 V, 7 Ah battery gives a minimum runtime of 40 hours after a full charge of roughly 10 hours.

On mains cable, runtime ranges from 0 to 99 hours 59 minutes, or continuous.

Platform and load capacity

The 200 x 295 mm platform holds a maximum load of 2 kg and runs from 5 to 220 rpm in steps of 5, with a 20 mm stroke.
