The Nabertherm LV 5/11 is designed for reliable and efficient laboratory ashing applications such as LOI, food residue testing, and plastic analysis. Its 5-liter chamber heats to 1100 °C in approx. 55 minutes. With ceramic heating plates and a pre-heated air exchange system that ensures more than 6 air changes per minute, this model delivers excellent combustion results and superior temperature uniformity. The flap door also functions as a practical loading shelf.
Standardized Ashing Furnace for Laboratory Testing – Nabertherm LV 5/11
The Nabertherm LV 5/11 is a robust ashing furnace tailored for precise and repeatable processes like loss on ignition (LOI), plastic residue analysis, and food sample ashing. With a Tmax of 1100 °C and a 5-liter capacity, it’s ideal for small- to mid-sized batches in laboratory settings.
Air is exchanged more than six times per minute and pre-heated before entering the chamber, enhancing combustion and promoting excellent temperature uniformity from 550 °C onwards. The furnace meets ISO, ASTM, EN, and DIN standards and comes standard with a flap door and a B510 touchscreen controller.
