The Lab Armor Bead Bath 20L – without beads is the largest model in the standard Bead Bath range, designed for laboratories requiring maximum capacity with all the benefits of waterless technology. Built exclusively for use with Lab Armor Beads (sold separately), it delivers precise heating across a temperature range from ambient +5°C to 80°C with exceptional uniformity of ±1.0°C at 37°C.
Its waterless design eliminates evaporation and contamination risks while removing the need for harmful biocides. The included chamber securely accommodates various vessels—plates, capped tubes, bottles, and even non-watertight containers—without racks or floats.
The 20L Bead Bath is also highly energy-efficient, consuming up to 4× less energy than conventional water baths at 65°C and over 2× less at 37°C. Maintenance is minimal, requiring only a quick monthly wipe with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol.
Perfect for high-throughput laboratories, it can remain always on, ensuring it is ready whenever needed. Its large capacity, robust stainless steel construction, and eco-friendly operation make it a sustainable, high-performance heating solution.
