Binder MKF 56 Climate Chamber – Compact Dynamic Environmental Chamber with Humidity Control

The Binder MKF 56 dynamic climate chamber combines precision, performance, and compact design for demanding environmental simulations. With a chamber volume of 60 L, it is ideal for applications requiring fast temperature changes and accurate humidity control, such as thermal cycling, accelerated aging, and stress testing in accordance with DIN and IEC standards.

Operating in a temperature range from –40 °C to +180 °C with exceptional uniformity (±0.5 to 1.5 K) and humidity control from 10 % to 98 % RH (±2.5 %), the MKF 56 ensures stable and repeatable conditions. The chamber uses APT.line™ preheating technology for uniform air distribution and features a capacitive humidity sensor with rapid steam humidification for fast and precise climate regulation.

Key design features include a stainless steel interior, LED chamber lighting, heated viewing window with humidity protection, a 50 mm access port for external probes, and a lockable door. The touchscreen controller allows real-time and time-segment programming, with data logging via USB or Ethernet using APT-COM™ software. An integrated 20-liter water tank supports the humidity system without external connections.

Built on castors for mobility and insulated with environmentally friendly materials, the MKF 56 runs on CFC-free R-452A refrigerant and includes safety features such as programmable condensation protection and alarm systems.
