Biovanguard 3 Class II Biosafety Cabinet – Made in Holland

The CleanAir BioVanguard 3 biological safety cabinet is a compact Class II safety cabinet with a 90 cm working width, specifically developed for laboratories where space efficiency must be combined with uncompromised safety and performance.

At the heart of the BioVanguard 3 are two powerful German EBM-Papst EC motors, working together with a large, easily accessible prefilter. This configuration significantly reduces HEPA filter loading, resulting in the longest HEPA filter lifetime available on the market. Fewer filter replacements, reduced downtime and lower service costs translate directly into the lowest total cost of ownership over the cabinet’s lifetime.

Unlike cabinets using lower-powered motors, the BioVanguard 3 maintains stable airflow over time. Noise levels, vibrations and energy consumption increase only very gradually, even as filters load, ensuring consistent working conditions throughout years of operation.

The cabinet is equipped with a manual sash system, offering a robust and reliable solution with minimal mechanical complexity. This makes the BioVanguard 3 particularly suitable for laboratories that value long-term reliability and ease of maintenance.

All electronic components are designed and manufactured in the Netherlands, ensuring exceptional reliability, minimal downtime and a long operational lifetime — critical for regulated laboratory environments.

Safety is maximised through a double-wall construction under negative pressure, preventing hazardous substances from escaping in the event of an air leak. The V-shaped front intake grille stabilises the protective air curtain and reduces sensitivity to external disturbances, while the sloped rear grille prevents accidental blockage by the user, preserving uniform downflow at all times.

Cleaning and decontamination are simplified thanks to seamless internal surfaces, rounded corners and a front window that tilts forward, providing excellent access to the work chamber.

The CleanAir BioVanguard 3 is the direct successor to the CleanAir Euroflow 3, offering a compact footprint with significantly improved performance, safety and lifecycle cost efficiency.
