Biovanguard 6 Class II Biosafety Cabinet – Made in Holland
The CleanAir BioVanguard 6 biological safety cabinet is a 1.8 metre wide Class II safety cabinet, developed for laboratories that require the largest possible working width while maintaining the highest levels of safety, reliability and long-term cost efficiency. It is the direct successor to the CleanAir Euroflow 6, providing a seamless upgrade path for existing installations.
At the heart of the BioVanguard 6 are five powerful German EBM-Papst EC motors, combined with a large, easily accessible prefilter. This high-capacity airflow system significantly reduces HEPA filter loading, resulting in the longest HEPA filter lifetime available on the market. Fewer filter replacements, reduced service interventions and minimal downtime directly translate into the lowest total cost of ownership over the cabinet’s lifetime.
Thanks to the use of high-quality, generously dimensioned motors, airflow stability is maintained even across the full 1.8 m working width. Noise levels, vibrations and energy consumption increase only very slowly as filters load, ensuring consistently comfortable working conditions over many years of operation — a clear advantage compared to older-generation cabinets.
The cabinet is equipped with a manual sash system, offering a robust and dependable solution with minimal mechanical complexity. This makes the BioVanguard 6 particularly suitable for laboratories that prioritise durability, ease of maintenance and long service life.
All electronic components are designed and manufactured in the Netherlands, ensuring exceptional reliability, very limited downtime and a long operational lifetime — essential in regulated pharmaceutical, hospital and research environments.
Maximum safety is ensured through a double-wall construction under negative pressure, preventing hazardous substances from escaping even in the unlikely event of a leak. The V-shaped front intake grille stabilises the protective air curtain and reduces sensitivity to environmental disturbances, while the sloped rear grille prevents accidental airflow blockage by the user, preserving uniform downflow across the entire work surface.
Cleaning and decontamination are simplified thanks to seamless internal surfaces, rounded corners and a front window that tilts forward, allowing fast and thorough access to the work chamber.
