The Biobase BK-HM15 infrared loop sterilizer is designed for laboratories seeking a safe, fast and reliable alternative to Bunsen burners when sterilizing inoculating loops, needles and small microbiology tools.

Using high-temperature infrared radiation, the instrument heats a ceramic tube to sterilization temperatures of up to 840 °C, eliminating microorganisms within seconds — without producing flames, aerosols or combustion gases. This makes the unit particularly suitable for use inside laminar flow cabinets, biological safety cabinets and clean benches.

Safe and Contamination-Free Design

The ceramic funnel-shaped heating chamber contains ash-like organic residue deep inside the tube, preventing splashing and reducing the risk of cross-contamination between samples.

Because no alcohol or gas is required, the BK-HM15 significantly improves laboratory safety while reducing consumable costs.

Adjustable Angle and Compact Footprint
