The Edmund Buhler SM 30 A is a bench-top orbital shaker, built for heavy loads in continuous, long-duration operation, with a maximum load of 30 kg.

It is the orbital version of the Universal SM 30 family, alongside the SM 30 B (reciprocating) and the SM 30 C (reversible).

Speed and stroke

Speed adjusts steplessly from 15 to 300 rpm, over a 26 mm stroke suited to general high-load laboratory use.

Platform and load capacity

The 560 x 400 mm platform holds a maximum load of 30 kg. The unit ships without a fixation rack, to be selected separately based on vessel format.

Rack and fixation accessories

Combining with the TH 30 incubator hood

The SM 30 A can take the TH 30 incubator hood, which turns the shaker into a combined shaking and temperature-controlled station, up to 50°C.
