The programmable version of the KS 15 reciprocating shaker

The Edmund Buhler KS 15 B control reuses the mechanical base of the KS 15 B reciprocating shaker and adds a programmable touch screen to store and repeat protocols.

Speed adjusts in steps of 5 over the same 30 to 420 rpm range as the non-programmable version.

Touch screen and programming

The capacitive touch screen, glove-compatible, allows manual or automatic operation over 10 programs of 10 segments each, with an audible and visual end-of-program signal.

A programmable delayed start and automatic restart after a power failure round out the programming functions.

Platform and load capacity

The 400 x 300 mm platform holds a maximum load of 15 kg. The unit ships without a fixation rack, to be selected separately based on vessel format.

Safety and integration options

The Defined Stop option is available on request for the KS 15 B control, for integration with robotic systems requiring a repeatable stop position.

USB 2.0, RS 232, and control interfaces (relay outputs, analog inputs/outputs) are available as options for remote operation, alongside the Safety Package for speed monitoring.

Rack and fixation accessories

The KS 15 B control accepts the same racks as the KS 15 B (Combifix KS rack, KS universal tray), as well as the TH 15 incubator hood.
