Central Type 2 Water Production for Large Laboratory Infrastructure

The Neptec RO alpha EDI PLUS is a high-capacity central water purification system designed for laboratories, hospitals and industrial facilities requiring large volumes of high-purity water. The system combines reverse osmosis purification with continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) to produce reliable Type 2 purified water directly from tap water.

By combining both purification technologies, the system removes dissolved salts, organic contaminants and residual ions while maintaining stable water quality without the need for chemical regeneration.

Larger Cabinet with Integrated 300 L Storage Tank

The RO alpha EDI PLUS differs from the standard RO alpha EDI system by its larger cabinet design. This cabinet allows integration of a 300 litre storage tank, which provides a larger buffer capacity between water production and water consumption.

This makes the system particularly suitable for installations with fluctuating demand or for facilities supplying several high-consumption instruments simultaneously.

Type 2 purified water produced by the RO alpha EDI PLUS system can be used for a wide range of laboratory applications including laboratory glassware washers, autoclaves, environmental chambers and central distribution loops.

The optional integrated distribution pumps allow the system to deliver purified water reliably to multiple instruments or departments across buildings.

Integrated Monitoring and Control

The system features a 10-inch touchscreen interface providing real-time monitoring of pressure, conductivity, production rate and system status. Integrated sensors and digital flow meters allow precise control of the purification process and easy diagnostics.

Optional communication interfaces such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Modbus-TCP allow the system to be integrated into building management systems and enable remote monitoring.
