The Jeiotech PW-21 PCR workstation delivers the largest working space in the PW series, making it ideal for high-throughput PCR preparation and complex molecular biology workflows. The PW-21 operates at an airflow velocity of 0.4 m/s (78.7 fpm), delivering uniform, vertical laminar airflow that prevents external contamination. Its integrated HEPA filter offers 99.99% efficiency at 0.3 μm, effectively trapping dust, microorganisms, and other airborne particles.
The workstation features a robust 30 W UV lamp (254 nm) for sterilizing work surfaces between procedures. The bright 30 W fluorescent lamp ensures excellent illumination, producing more than 1,000 Lux for precise and comfortable handling of delicate PCR reagents and samples. Transparent polycarbonate windows provide 99.9% UV protection, safeguarding operators while maintaining clear visibility inside the workspace.
