The Exacta DIAM125BP is a compact ventilation box designed to evacuate vapours from chemical and fireproof storage cabinets to the outside via a Ø125 mm duct. It delivers 360 m³/h with an IP44 motor and aluminium rotor for reliable, low-noise operation. Active ventilation increases safety and service life and aligns with EN 14470-1 practice to provide continuous extraction (labs typically target ≈10 air changes/hour for flammables). The unit ships ready to use with power cord and filter holder; connection kits and carbon filters are available.
Safer storage through active exhaust
DIAM125BP captures vapours inside the cabinet and exhausts them outside the building through roof or wall ducting, reducing exposure and odour while helping maintain compliance in labs storing volatile or flammable products. When external discharge isn’t possible, Exacta’s CFN filtration boxes (NF X 15-211) provide a recirculating alternative—choose according to chemicals stored.
Engineered for continuous duty
A steel housing with aluminium rotor (IP44, ISO-B) delivers 360 m³/h, operating from –20 °C to +50 °C at only 47 dB. A neoprene gasket ensures airtight coupling to the cabinet collar; the Ø125 mm outlet connects to flexible or rigid duct. Dimensions are 290×290×270 mm; weight 20 kg. Supplied with power cable and built-in filter box.
Why ventilate?
Active ventilation is strongly advised for safety; in practice, labs handling flammables follow EN 14470-1 guidance to provide around 10 air changes of the cabinet’s internal volume per hour. Venting also extends cabinet life and keeps your manufacturer warranty conditions intact when used as specified.
