Biobase BK-HM35 Infrared Loop Sterilizer for Large-Diameter Tools

The Biobase BK-HM35 infrared loop sterilizer is engineered for laboratories that require flame-free sterilization of larger microbiological instruments such as forceps, scalpels, spreaders and thick inoculating loops.

Using infrared heating technology, the ceramic tube reaches sterilization temperatures of up to 840 °C, destroying bacteria, spores and microorganisms within 2–5 seconds.
Because no gas or alcohol is required, the system eliminates fire hazards and allows safe operation inside laminar flow cabinets and biological safety cabinets.

Large Heating Chamber and Ergonomic Design

Compared to smaller models, the BK-HM35 features a 35 mm diameter heating tube, giving operators more flexibility when sterilizing bulkier tools.

The adjustable heating head (+30° / –45°) allows comfortable positioning on the bench, while the compact housing fits easily into microbiology laboratories, plant tissue culture rooms and educational labs.

Clean and Safe Operation

Organic residues remain contained inside the ceramic chamber, preventing splashing and minimizing contamination risks.
