Binder UF V 500 Ultra Low Temperature Freezer – Secure -90 °C Storage in 501 L Capacity
The Binder UF V 500 ultra low temperature freezer is purpose-built for demanding laboratory environments, offering precise and reliable storage from -90 °C to -40 °C. With an internal capacity of 501 L, this ULT freezer is perfectly suited for long-term preservation of vaccines, cell cultures, enzymes, and other critical samples.
Featuring a robust stainless steel interior and vacuum-insulated panels, the UF V 500 provides exceptional thermal stability and fast temperature recovery. Its powerful cascade refrigeration system uses climate-neutral refrigerants (R‑290/R‑170) and delivers one of the lowest energy consumption figures in its class—around 7.9 kWh/day at -80 °C. The design includes innovative gasket technology to reduce ice buildup, ergonomic door handles, detachable inner doors, and three stainless-steel shelves (expandable to thirteen) for flexible organization.
For precise control and secure operations, the UF V 500 is equipped with an internal data logger (USB/Ethernet), zero-voltage alarm contact, alarm systems, operating hours counter, and two Ø 28 mm access ports for external monitoring or validation. It also offers optional water-cooling, ultra-quiet performance at 47 dB(A), and accommodates up to 352 cryoboxes (50 mm) across four compartments.
