Binder KBF 470 Constant Climate Chamber – 472 L Precision for ICH Testing
The Binder KBF 470 constant climate chamber is engineered for demanding ICH-compliant stability testing in pharmaceutical, biotech, and research labs. Featuring a 472 L stainless steel chamber, it ensures exact control of temperature (0 °C to +70 °C) and humidity (10% to 80% RH) even when fully loaded.
This model incorporates Binder’s APT.line™ preheating system and an efficient inverter compressor using eco-friendly R‑600a refrigerant, achieving up to 40% lower energy consumption compared to previous versions. It includes door heating to prevent condensation, adjustable fan speed, and premium insulation for reliable performance. The ergonomic touchscreen controller allows time-segment programming and real-time monitoring, while the built-in data logger (USB/Ethernet) supports GLP-compliant documentation.
Safety is paramount: the chamber features a Class 3.3 independent temperature safety device, visual and audible alarms, a self-test diagnostic, and a signal triangle with light-up status display. A large Ø 80 × 45 mm access port simplifies sensor integration. The floor-standing design includes twin casters with brakes for mobility and stability.
